Launch of Big Brother: the Game, to be a ‘game-changer’ for 9th Impact

14.10.20 – Tomorrow sees the global launch of much anticipated, Big Brother: the Game, by GTC-based games developer, 9th Impact.  Having been established in 2014 by co-founders Mark Quick (CEO) and Finn Krewer (CTO), 9th Impact has gone from strength-to-strength over the past few years.  Early releases by the company of games for the popular children’s shows Danger Mouse and Sunny Bunnies.  This established the trend for the company in aligning with strong brands to develop games for the well established audiences.

Big Brother: the Game, having been in the works for the last three years will be the biggest launch for the developers yet.  Expecting over 100,000 downloads by Christmas, this launch will be a ‘game-changer’ for the company.  Read the full story in the the recent Sunday Business Post article.

9th Impact is a multi-award winning games development studio based in Galway Technology Centre. They develop and publish games in partnership with TV Studios with a team of game designers, developers, 3D modellers, artists and animators. They have won awards such as ‘Best Technology Start-up’ and raised €500,000 with Enterprise Ireland in 2018. Their games are available in 140 countries and 12 languages.  They were feature in GTC’s ‘member ambition video series‘ in 2019 where they spoke about their ‘global ambition’.  Well, they will truly make their mark on the global scale with this latest launch!
