The Mezzanine

We have had a busy few weeks here with painters and decorators onsite further enhancing our facilities’. The mezzanine area has been completely refurbished, our objective for this area was to create some soft meeting spaces which allow you to meet in a casual area outside your office, we have used high tables to encourage more standing meetings, the lighting (which we love!), softens then space and the drop down banners, give a sense of division but yet allow us to completely open the space for larger networking events. We would love your feedback as we have a few finishing touches to add. If you would like to host an event or have suggestions for an event in this space please let us know.

Energy Usage

In the next month we will commence a project to replace all of the lighting in public areas and meeting rooms with low energy usage LED lighting. This project is a significant investment but will reduce our energy usage by 30%. It is a primary objective for us to make GTC as energy neutral as we can over the coming years and we are currently working with NUIG on a study looking at generating our own power.
