Galway Technology Centre (GTC), has announced the appointment of Brian Muldoon as their new Client Scaling Manager. He will be responsible for assisting the growth and expansion of member companies, enabling their development and access to finance along with the recruitment of new client companies. Enterprise Ireland has supported this role along with the appointment of a CEO role and a Regional Outreach and Collaboration Manager position.
Brian comes to the role with more than twenty years’ experience in finance, credit management and supporting SMEs. During his time with AIB he worked in a variety of roles based in Galway and Dublin, including AIB’s international division, new business development as well as business banking. He also has a proven track record in helping SMEs with business planning and funding requests.
Speaking about Brian’s appointment, GTC CEO Oliver Daniels said, “We are delighted to have Brian on board, he’s going to be a tremendous asset for Galway Technology Centre and all our members. Brian has been at the forefront of finance and credit for more than 20 years and he has an in depth knowledge of that landscape.
“When it comes to having someone who is available to assist our members with their growth, their expansion, their learning and development and ultimately their ability to scale – we couldn’t have found a more appropriate fit. We look forward to introducing Brian to all the current and future members of GTC and facilitating their access to his expertise going forward,” he said.

GTC is the leading enterprise space dedicated to supporting and enabling the scaling of innovative businesses in the West of Ireland. A social enterprise, GTC was Ireland’s first innovation centre, founded in 1994. Over the years it has supported more than 300 companies who have created in excess of 3,000 jobs.
