EmployAbility Galway are seeking support from employers in the Galway City area to provide a 10-week work placement opportunity for 9 participants on the Assistive Social Skills and Employment Training (ASSET) Programme in some of the following areas; computer science, heritage, elderly & child care, data entry, administration, administration trí Ghaeilge, cleaning, and software engineering.
Through the ASSET program, participants will learn to develop their soft skills, or work-related social skills and social self-confidence by attending weekly training and participating in a 10-week work placement. EmployAbility Galway would love to hear from employers who would be interested in working with themselves and NUI Galway to provide these placements.
