Managing Director of Furniture.ie and young Galway based entrepreneur Richard Moyles collected the accolade for Best Commercial Website 2008 at the sixth annual Digital Media Awards, held last weekend in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Dublin.

The Digital Media Awards seek to recognise and reward excellence in the Digital Media Sector and include 16 award categories including Best Service Provider, Best in Design, Best elearning Product or Course and Best Entertainment Content.

Moyles, who was also recipient of the IIA Internet Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 award, established the site in 2002 out of his conviction that – until then – finding home products required too much time and energy.
