Keith Finnegan, Galway Bay Fm morning show broadcast from GTC

Keith Finnegan, Galway Bay Fm broadcast his morning Radio show from Galway Technology Centre last Monday, 11th May.  Peter Allen, Chair of GTC and Dr. Chris Coughlan, Chair of WESTBIC dropped-in to talk about the origins of the Centre and to highlight the range of supports available to start-up technology companies. Keith also invited Noel Grealish, TD, to the Centre to discuss his proposal for a dedicated fund to support the sustainability of SMEs during the recession while Trevor Sergeant and some of his colleagues in the Green Party had a chat with Keith about the upcoming European and Local elections.

The show also showcased the products and services of six GTC companies highlighting the range of products and services being developed in Galway Technology Centre by PlanNet21, Starlight Solutions, Outsource Technical Concepts, Gaelstorm, Furntech and Duolog Technologies. The show came to a close with an introduction to the Business Angels Programme by Gerry Mackey, WESTBIC, who highlighted the advantages of the programme in the current economic climate.
